I started Anxious for Change after going through an early (I hope) mid-life crisis in my mid thirties. I’d become a walking cliche, unhappy despite a good career at one of the best software companies in the world, a loving parter, and more vacation time than I could use in a year. I’d achieved what I had struggled for, but I was still completely unsatisfied. After years of flailing around trying to find my passion I stumbled across two things that finally set me on the right path - psychotherapy and coaching. After a year of sometimes eye-roll inducing education and self-discovery I finally stumbled across something I wanted to put my energy into - sharing all the tools I had learned around mindfulness, anxiety management, and goal setting with others.

Everything in this blog is what I’ve learned while searching for purpose, and is something I wish I’d known 15 years ago.
